Danny already used this Shangela quote earlier in the week, but it's more appropriate for me: Halleloo, I'm back!
In case you forgot who I am, I wrote this thing regularly last semester and now I only write it when Danny is off being a young professional in St. Petersburg and I'm just here being young. But don't get too excited; this is only a one-night engagement. Marcus Paige and I have that in common — last night, he came back to North Carolina to play a game with his current team, the Salt Lake City Stars.
While I don't want the entirety of last year to return, I hope that getting Marcus back in the Tar Heel state is a reminder of where we've been for the basketball team as they take on Butler in the Sweet 16. As long as we stop getting those reminders by the Final Four I'm all good.

QUICK HITS
Student Stores held a town hall on Thursday to see how they can make the space easier to hang out in. Somewhere from the beyond, The Daily Grind is very slowly shaking its fist.
Want to help UNC win its game tonight? Eat some egg rolls, according to food delivery company GrubHub.
A bill that would permit concealed handgun carry on college campuses has been proposed in the General Assembly.
Craft brewers and wholesale distributors are debating a very different bill, also in the General Assembly, that would allow breweries to increase production without going through said distributors.
IN WRESTLING CONTROVERSY
Most people know, at least vaguely, that wrestlers compete in different weight classes. Most don't think about the process behind "making weight," which has claimed the lives of several college athletes over the sport's history. While NCAA regulations and coach attitudes have alleviated the issue, disordered eating and weight loss and gain still haunt athletes.
IN WEEKEND FUN
Plays, culture and nerds, oh my! UNC's weekend attractions include the opening of Company Carolina's "The Producers," the Vietnamese Student Associations keystone event "VietNite," and the continuation of "Geek Week," a collaborative event run by New Student and Carolina Parent Programs.
IN POLICE REPORTS
Somebody tried to steal two basketball jerseys valued at $150 from Johnny T-Shirt on Monday by putting them in their pants and walking out of the store. I'm not even mad because I honestly considered pulling this when I realized how much those jerseys cost. Other fun charges include fraud, alcohol and drug violations and noise complaints.
